RECOUNT TEXT

                                                       A FIELD STUDY TO MALANG

batu city

Early October, exactly on 9 to 11, 2018. All of students of the fifth semester and third semester English education program, Purworejo Muhammadiyah University made a visit to the Malang city, in order to fulfill the field study course. Three buses are waiting for us on campus. Bus is divided into bus A, B, C and D. My lecturer, my classmate, and I were in the same bus. Our bus is B. We left our campus at 8 a.m.
The journey from Purworejo to Malang took a day. We got to the Batu, Malang city in about 9 p.m. I was so tired that I didn’t get there, because I was suffering motion sickness.
That night we arrived at the hotel to stay overnight to rest and continue visiting hours to some place the next day. Arriving at the hotel, we all immediately eat because of hunger. After dinner we all go straight to our rooms. How surprised I was that the hotel room I was staying at last night was quite pretentious.
In the morning, after a good night’s sleep, we prepared to leave the luxury hotel, to move on to the next place. But of course, we did not forget to take photographs. After breakfast, we immediately left the hotel. The firsr place we visited Was The Tourists Agro Apples Picking. In order to get there, our bus could not reach there because of a narrow path. So we ride angkot (minivan). The sun shone brightly and the scenery was very beautiful.  There were so many apple trees that are bearing fruit, and we can pick out apples. I felt so full, almost every kind of apple I ate there. There was something sweet and sour too.  One of my lecturer gave a sign that playtime is over. And then we got out of that place and back on the bus. But there was something concernes me when I walked out. I saw a seller who sold the keychain souvenirs city’s brand. In the end I bought it ten pieces to give to the people I loved.
Our journey continues to the second place of the Batu city, that is The Jatim Park Tourism. In about 12 p.m we got there. We were given three hours to play there until 3 p.m and then back on the bus. I was very surprised when I got there. It was vast and many fascinating games and also there was an education-minded side to visitors. There I was and my friends trying to board up some of the existing recreational vehicles. The most challenging thing for me was break into a haunted house. It was so funny when we was in there, we all hold on to each other. When we got out of that scary place, we all laugh and got thirsty for a lot of yelling at the inside. Because we were so preoccupied. We forgot that the time was up. In a hurry we found the exit gate and run to the parking lot. When I got on the bus, all the other students were waiting, and so our lecturer. I felt embarrased actually, but me and my friends said sorry and smiling.
The last place we visited was The Museum Angkut (Transportation Museum). This museum is the first and largest mobile museum of transportation in Asia. Before we could get in, like usual we had a handheld bracelet, as a ticket to an officer. When I entered the main hall zone, I was really amazed, because there were so many vehicles on display in the museum. To get to the exit, we have to pass through all the zones. Nine charming zones was attracting visitors. It was The Main Hall zone, The Education zone, The Sunda & Batavia zone, The Gangster Town & Broadway Street zone, The Europe zone, The Buckingham Palace zone, The Las Vegas zone, The Hollywood zone, and The Floating Market zone.
I really couldn’t miss a single zone without taking a photo. There was a funny moment, I was left behind in the elevator while my friends were out. If I remember that, my friends and I will laugh and never forgot what happened back then. The view of The Batu city could be seen from the top of the museum. It was a very beautiful sight. I was so shocked when there was a commercial plane like Garuda at the top of the museum. Then me and the other walked over there. I stepped foot into that plane, and it felt like I was on a plane.
Zone by zone we passed. We finally made it out of the amazing museum. Of the nine zones there, I really enjoyed being in the Sunda & Batavia zone. It was because I felt that I was in Jakarta last time, and there were so many replicas of shops and also a replica of the Jakarta station. In addition to a series  lampion line in the ceiling as well as  the light of an exotic light and then the strains of Malay music that very melodious that made me not want to leave. In the middle of a replicas, there was a Musholla. It was very exciting for visitors in order to not forget to worship.
The time has been revealed at 7 p.m. before returning home to Purworejo we visited a place of gifts first, which was on the top floor was prepared by the committee for dinner. After dinner, in about 9 p.m, we left The Batu, Malang City, to return to Purworejo city. During our journey home we all fell asleep untill finally we arrived at Purworejo at 7 a.m.
I felt like everything that happened yesterday was like a dream. I will never forget a beautiful moment in Batu city.
